What we collect

When someone submits a contact form on this site, we collect their name, email address, and the message they send. This information is used solely to respond to their inquiry.

When an organization uses the Laika product, we collect the minimum data needed to operate the lost and found system: item descriptions, photos, and the contact information of people submitting or claiming items.

How we use it

We use collected data only to provide and improve the Laika service. We do not sell, share, or use personal data for advertising. Data is scoped per organization — no institution can see another's data.

Data storage

Data is stored on Supabase (AWS us-east-1) and served via Vercel, both SOC 2 Type II certified. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Retention

Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to handle your inquiry. Product data is retained per the terms agreed with each organization and deleted on request.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@laikacampus.com.
